The Edger The edger or gang saw contains a series of five parallel blades loed along a single shaft. The board after being chopped to length by the cut off saw rolls along the feed table and enters the edger. Here it is cut into individual boards. Since the saw blades may be adjusted, different board widths may be cut as desired.
